Bulging Disc Treatment

A bulging disc, also known as a herniated disc or a prolapsed disc, is a condition in which the outer layer of a spinal disc bulges or extends out of its normal position. This can put pressure on nearby nerves, causing symptoms such as pain, numbness, and weakness. A bulging disc most often occurs in the lower back, but can also occur in the neck or cervical region. It is typically caused by age-related wear and tear, injury, or overuse.
