Dr. Jose Ortiz is a Chiropractor who graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic, Florida Campus, with a background in Sports Medicine and Athletic Training. Dr. Jose Ortiz has always been passionate about the science behind the human body’s function, and it’s capability to do more than we even think of.  

He graduated back in 1998 from the University of Puerto Rico, and started working in specialized wellness clubs with all types of populations. Later, in 2002, he opened his first wellness center. In 2006 he opened  his second and bigger wellness center,  in which he took care of special populations such as overweight kids, athletes (amateurs and professionals), and senior citizens, along with population in general. 

He was successful in many aspects while having his center. Through exercise, he helped clients lose weight, reduce medications for certain conditions caused by overweight such as high blood pressure and high cholesterol, and also correct musculoskeletal problems and recover from injuries just with exercise and no need for pills or medications. He also helped kids with behavior and attention problems.  All of these performed with a scientific base and with no medications. 

 By doing so, he reaffirmed that there was more he could do. To work more in depth with musculoskeletal conditions, he decided to go to Palmer College of Chiropractic, where he acquired a broad knowledge of techniques which he has combined to get the best out  of every treatment. His innovative protocols have helped patients recover from fibromyalgia, herniated discs, extremities injuries and conditions, being most of them as consequence of overweight. His vast knowledge in Posture has been key.  Patients suffering from kyphosis, scoliosis, and lordosis, among others, have also seen these benefits.  Apart from his doctoral degree as a Board Certified Chiropractic Physician, Dr. Jose Ortiz is a Functional Medicine Practitioner. Through Functional Medicine, he has been able to help patients who suffer overweight, diabetes, neuropathy, and other autoimmune diseases. Testing is key for Dr. Jose Ortiz to know what is going on inside the body, and get the best out of every consultation.
