Herniated Disc Treatment

A herniated disc, also known as a slipped disc or a ruptured disc, is a condition in which the inner, gel-like material of a spinal disc leaks out and puts pressure on nearby nerves. This can cause symptoms such as pain, numbness, and weakness in the affected area, as well as referred pain that spreads to other areas of the body. A herniated disc most often occurs in the lower back, but can also occur in the neck or cervical region. It is typically caused by age-related wear and tear, injury, or overuse.
